Duracell Ultra AAA Batteries (8 Batteries) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Be warned that you will not get the Ultra brand of Duracell. If you go to their website (Duracell) you will readily see that the standard Coppertop are inferior to the Ultra type. The standard Duracell AAA batteries are model MN2400 whereas the Ultra are model number MX2400.

Kirkland Signature AA 1.5V Alkaline Batteries, 48 pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have had a great experience with Kirkland (Costco store brand) batteries. Always have gotten them for home and office use, and several sizes, 9V, AA, AAA, but not C or D size so cannot comment about those. Best value for the money as alkalines go, and Costco stands behind them. Besides, Costco also has Duracell Brand next to their brand so one can choose either.
But recently I've gotten into AA and AAA rechargeables as they are most cost-effective and earth-friendly (if you recycle them). There are even rechargeables that maintain their shelf life better than regular Ni-Cad or Ni-Mh and these are specially marked.

Duracell Batteries / 4 AA - size batteries Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a very good price for long lasting batteries. I've never had a problem with these and the alkalines last a very long time. I've never seen these leak as compared to other batteries that I've used.

Duracell is known for their "CopperTop" batteries. The 1.5V AA battery size is required for many electronic toys, players, pagers, remote controls, etc. Using alkaline batteries like these will provide more product life than rechargeable batteries, although they are usable only once. This package comes with four batteries.

Maxell 723453 LR6 20MP AA Cell 20 Pack Brick Battery Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)What can I say? They're 20 alkalines for $5.99! Stock up! Alkalines have a shelf life of years.
I prefer rechargables. But they lose 1/3 of their power per month just sitting around, & sometimes I don't get around to the charger.
2 of these batteries ran my I-River mp3 disk player for 9 hours, & my Grundig Mini 300 World Band Reciever for about 30 hours.
My experience with alkalines is that lifetime between name brands & generics varies by such a small amount it's neglegible.

Maxell 723443 LR6 AA Cell 48 Pack Box Battery Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These Maxell batteries are alkaline and are of a name brand quality. If you refer to Consumer Reports you will see that with a few exceptions, there is little variation in the life of alkaline batteries of equal sizes between brands. I would recommend these batteries to anyone who does not frequent a Sams Club or Costco: their store brands are a slightly better value.

Technuity L92BP2 Battery, Lithium Aaa Photo Battery, 2 Count Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Received an email not specific to my purchase to call the vendor. I reluctantly called them and after they finally found the order they said the AA I ordered was out of stock. I informed them that my order was for AAA batteries. I simply told them to cancel the order on the item they didn't have. I had to call back again to actually get the order cancelled and then a third time to get a refund since they hard charged me for this item they did not have. I finally did get this cleared up, but not without the hastle.

DURACELL 9 Volt PROCELL Professional Alkaline Battery, Pack of 12 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I play in a band, and my guitars use 9v batteries for the pre-amps. I have found these to last longer than the coppertops I purchase at the local big box store. I realize this statement conflicts with others I have read, however, that is my take on it. I have been purchasing these for 2 years and have never been disappointed.

Rayovac ALAA-24 UltraPRO Alkaline AA Batteries, 24-Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Old Review: These bateries seem to be seconds or rejects from the manufaturer.
I purchased two 12-packs of these "D" cell batteries. When I received them I opened both sealed packages and found at least half of the batteries in each pack were dented on the sides near the tops or bottoms and others were scratched. They all have expiration dates of DEC 2017, measured above 1.6 volts and don't seem to be leaking, so they might be just fine. I reported the problem to Amazon so maybe you won't have the same experience.
New Review: I decided to buy some more of these batteries, and this time they were perfect. Even the ones I received before, which were physically damaged on the outside, have worked very well and lasted a long time. I changed the rating from 3 to 5 stars.

Energizer 529 6-Volt Battery Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Energizer makes great batteries; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. These 6 volt batteries really last noticeably longer than the 6 volt batteries other companies used to make. I really like this because I live in a semi-rural area and every so often we have a blackout that lasts however long it lasts! I always get plenty of long life out of these Energizer 6 volt batteries when they're in my high powered flashlight; and that's excellent!
Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be a few years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer or on a closet shelf anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries eventually begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!
Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could literally explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in the case they came in or they should be already installed in your portable flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.
Overall, these Energizer 6 volt size batteries are the ones to choose if you need 6 volt size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs 6 volt batteries.

Duracell Coppertop Batteries Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm pretty used to buying batteries online and finding they had been made long before I ordered them (had some CR123 with experations the next month from another vendor). In at least my case, my batteries from this vendor show a production date of 3/30/10...and I ordered them on April 18th. You can't get any younger batteries (exp is Mar2016). I'll be checking this distrbutor out for the rest of my battery needs.

Energizer E91BP-16H Max AA Alkaline Battery (16 Pack) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Not much to say about the batteries. They are Energizer and the brand certainly meets everyone's expectations. My batteries were received and the date on the package was well in advance, so no complaints here.
However, the price is a bit above average. If you are ordering for convenience fine. But if you want the best deal, you will likely need to go to your local discount store. The local store usually runs about $.70 per battery or less when purchased in bulk (more than 4). At the current Amazon price ($13.95), that comes out to about $.85 per battery.
