(More customer reviews)I have had a great experience with Kirkland (Costco store brand) batteries. Always have gotten them for home and office use, and several sizes, 9V, AA, AAA, but not C or D size so cannot comment about those. Best value for the money as alkalines go, and Costco stands behind them. Besides, Costco also has Duracell Brand next to their brand so one can choose either.
But recently I've gotten into AA and AAA rechargeables as they are most cost-effective and earth-friendly (if you recycle them). There are even rechargeables that maintain their shelf life better than regular Ni-Cad or Ni-Mh and these are specially marked.

(More customer reviews)After taking 6000 IU daily for 3 months, my doctor wasn't happy or impressed with my lab results after taking Kirkland D3.
I'm not that happy because I liked the price and convenience of Kirkland. He has me taking Ortho Molecular Products Vitamin D, 5000 IU.
I guess we'll see, but I am inclined to follow his suggestion. After taking for three months his suggested HPF Cholestene Red Yeast Rice: my numbers dropped 76 points!!
I am now 202, the lowest I have ever been, and without the horrible side effects of prescription meds, and I've tried 4 of them. I am sure Kirkland would be fine for some just wishing to boost, but for me, needing more therapeutic values, it looks as tho I need to go elsewhere. I still give it three stars, because for some reason I trust Kirkland, and because of the convenience and value. It just didn't work for me.
