(More customer reviews)This is an unsual type of battery. It's a A23. I don't find many uses for this kind of battery, but they are very reliable and cost effective for what i am using them. At work we need it for a doorbell and so far they have lasted a long time. The doorbell gets open a lot and for the price you could not have gotten ones for the same price locally.

(More customer reviews)I've always been a little fascinated with the a23 cell - at first it looks like a little tiny 12V battery until you peel away the wrapper and find it is just a stack of 357 cells all piled one atop the next to get to 12V.
That being said, if you need alot of 357 cells in a hurry and are not picky as to brand or chemistry (I've seen alot of stuff inside a23's) you can always buy one of these and uwrap the outside wrapper and have a handfull of 357 cells dirt cheap - the store that sells the A23 probably charges the same price for their 357, not realizing that there are 8 357's inside the A23.
