(More customer reviews)Ok, first of all, there are batteries for sale in the "Used" section. "Used batteries, what a great deal!"
Back in 1997, I got a sports radio to use in the bathroom during my showers. Everyday (sans vacation days), I used that radio for about 30 minutes. It's the very beginning of January of 2006, and the batteries died last night. How freakin' unbelievable is that? These suckers really do keep going and going and going.

Energizer Max D Batteries, 2-Count (Pack of 3) Review

(More customer reviews)These are pretty much what you think they are - 6 Energizer D batteries. I've been using 2 in a automatic cat feeder I own and they've been running without problem for about 4 months now. If you need them, get them.

Energizer D-Cell 4-Pack Review

(More customer reviews)Batteries... D-Cells... They were fresh and had plenty of time left before they expired. What more do you need to know? One tip though, I found it's cheaper to buy them at Home Depot, but buying here is a good alternative if you are strapped for time.
