I was having problems with my older battery because it wouldn't let my watch make any beeping sounds. I tried one of these, and it still didn't work. But still, they're great for the price.

(More customer reviews)The batteries arrived very quickly and in new condition, but they were packaged differently than as pictured. This was probably a bulk stock purchase by the vendor, which would explain the individual packaging, but who cares given the price...
More importantly, the vendor does not state that ALL of the batteries (at least the ones I received) were manufactured in 2006(!) so as of now they are already ~5 years old.
I thought about sending them back, but after reading that lithium batteries have a long shelf-life (10+ years) I figured I would keep them instead. If they perform well, I will order from MTA Trading again. Of course, I'll be sure to confirm the manufacturing date in advance (I suggest you do the same). Otherwise, this will be my last purchase.

(More customer reviews)Don't be misled by the dates on the battery packaging, which refer to copyright or something. These batteries are very fresh (patiently explained by the seller and confirmed by a call to Energizer). The only apparent reference I could find to date of manufacture at first was on the back side (2006), but now I know that the date code is actually a 2-letter code also found on the back. In my case, the code was MI (Dec. 2009 according to Energizer). I'm sure I'm not the only buyer who's been thrown off by this labeling convention. The bottom line: no worries re: freshness with this seller!
