You would think they would be easy to find in the stores, but after several trips to a variety of places they were either sold out or not carried. With Christmas coming up, have bought a few. No problem with them. Candles are burning brightly.

"Equivalent" would have been another brand name of simular standing not a no name brand of unknown type or quality. Very disappointed. Maybe one of the other sellers has brand name batteries as advertised.

(More customer reviews)Having abunch of small LED light units that are attached to key holders and using 3 AG3 cells each; I began searching for good inexpensive AG3 batterys. I checked EBAY and found some and then priced them on Amazon. Much to my surprise, Amazon was the cheapest. To give a comparison for what Radio Shack was selling for one battery (5.99), you could purchase almost six thousand of these batteries from Amazon. Bottom line, batteries are work fine - its been several months and none have been replaced. (No, I didn't buy thousands of batteries, just a few cards of ten.)

The batteries are just what they claim to be. They're neither "Spectacular" warranting 4 or 5 stars, nor are they "Junk" warranting 1 or 2. They are what they are: functional, and a good buy for any household or office that needs a supply as-needed.
Buying 100 at a time makes them inexpensive; this is a good thing, but unrelated to the product itself.
The vendor was prompt and professional and they arrived on-time ... but again, this is unrelated to reviewing the product.

(More customer reviews)Of all the batteries I've ever purchased, this is definitely one of them. The aesthetic superiority makes this quite a value. The density and mass of the battery is just perfect to keep it sitting in place where ever that is. Since the color is silver, it's shiny. Voltage seems to be within spec, as it properly powers that into which it is placed. I recommend this product for whomever needs this kind of battery. However, if you're NOT looking for this kind of battery, select another, because this would then be incompatible.

(More customer reviews)These Batteries were bought for a reading light for my Kindle (Which I Love) So far three months in on the first three on no dimming of flickering, they came in a simple envelop, boxed as shown in the pic, the batteries were all maxwell name brand and dated to current.
I expect to be buying these again, hopefully not in the near future though Heh!

(More customer reviews)I use these batteries in a laser pointer and it is always important to have spares on hand. I searched everywhere I know of in local shops and couldn't find this specific type. I have paid as much as $5 each for similar tiny alkaline batteries. This is less than $8 for 50 of them - including shipping!!! Absolutely amazing. I received them via regular mail service 2 business days after the sale. I put them in the laser pointer to ensure they are the right size and they work. This is one of those rare examples of extreme value and service. Buy these batteries.
By the way, I am seriously just a random buyer. I don't work for them or know anybody who does. I'm seriously just amazed at how sweet this worked out for me.

(More customer reviews)I ordered a package of these batteries at the end of October, 2009 for my baby's thermometer. The battery lasted until now which was good, but when I went to change it because the display stated low battery, every single battery I popped into the thermometer registered low battery. I had them stored just like the package said "cool, dry, dark place" and not a single one works.
I will never buy these again as it is a waste when you only need one and when you do need to replace it the rest of the lot is dead. Nice for the environment.

Given the price, they might still be worth it even though you end up changing them out quicker, but I'm torn because I'm ending up creating a lot more trash by using these - which is not very environmentally friendly of me.
