I have been using NO-Xplode by BSN for months now. Along with my iPod it has been one of the main factors in me losing over 55 lbs and at least 30 of that was pure fat! Do the research people.. you will find that the fat burning qualities of this product aren't the only benefit. The 'pump' you get is only the beginning. The blend that is within the product allows for sustained workout times, faster recovery and healing of worked outmuscles, higher reps for weight training and even longer cardio sessions.. if you are doing that.. and you always should be.
It has become one of the base supplements that I have added to my routine. As always, you should do the research on anything before you jump into adding it to your body, and with teh internet.. that is NOT a difficult thing to do correctly. (More customer reviews)This gum has a purpose-stay awake. It is not enjoyable like regular gum, but it works. No jitters, just keeps ya going. Great for the long road trip when coffee is not available. Bitterness arrives within a couple minutes. At first it is not fun-but after a little time you get use to it. I find if you stop chewing it for awhile, by placing it between the cheek a gum, the bitterness goes away. You can then alternate between chewing and resting. I recommend using it as needed.

(More customer reviews)This product is definitely strong, if you need 200mg of boost this is for you. The only reason I didn't give full 5 stars was because I didn't get the boost I needed. I'd forgotten something they taught me in Bio that people with ADHD (it really does differ from ADD in its chemical imbalance) don't get a boost from caffeine, they get tired. I took a pill to get rid of a headache at the end of a hard day at work and before I could ride my bike home I was yawning and ready to hit the hay.
Absolutely nothing against this product, now I have a bottle of super sleep pills. Just putting this out there for people with ADHD to know what will happen if they take these.

Eventual post-caffeination (and/or sugar) crash
Hyper-activity
Stomach irritation
Jitters
Ineffectiveness
Stay Alert has become my preferred form of caffeine quite simply because it suffers from none of these. It doesn't give me a buzz or make me feel wired. It simply keeps me alert. After taking it, I don't feel sleepy. Instead I feel perfectly awake and nothing more, which is precisely what I want. Also, it works for hours on end, is highly portable, and is cheaper than most other forms of caffeine. The only downsides are it's artificially sweetened and begins to taste bitter rather quickly. It's not meant to be chewing gum, though. It's meant to keep you awake, and it does just that. Further, considering caffeine is bitter by nature, the flavor's a small price I'm willing to pay.

Sure, there's a proprietary blend added into the mix, but not real indication of what it's meant to do or how it could ever be noticed. I can appreciate the need for a product hook of some sort, but one that is indistinguishable from a "generic" one is always silly and never really worth any special consideration.
As caffeine pills, it is what it is. If that's your goal, no worries. There just doesn't seem to be anything special here, so feel free to choose this or whatever other brand based on trust or price like you normally would.

Even the ingredient lists look differnt by by the way the categories arranged, but to me it tried and true product, that I much prefer to morning Java and which I can have at bedside to take a few in anticipation of getting up to get ready for each days battles.
It seems I have been using it farly consistently for 7 years or so, and haven't found anything better, though it would nice if I could. It is about $13 to $18 localley, so it is a fair price here for 3.
More economical might be a higher count bottle. Buy as many as possible, and keep in your freezerbox until ready to conume.

(More customer reviews)I've developed a terrifying habit of getting very sleepy while driving. I've never had an accident, but I avoid driving at night, and even in the daytime staying awake can be difficult. If necessary I pull over and nap or exercise, but that takes time. I've tried taking along a quart of coffee, but that's a bother. Buying coffee can work, but it takes time, and there isn't always a source of coffee near at hand.
A couple months ago I discovered 24, by Jolt, and that gum works well and has little aftertaste, but I need usually six pieces--half a pack. I recently found Stay Alert on here and bought a lot of it. It arrived two days later. It costs about $1 for five pieces, so about 20 cents a piece. Each piece is twice the thickness and twice the strength of a piece of 24. Depending on how sleepy I am, I find that if I chew one or two pieces, within a couple minutes I'm feeling fine. It's much cheaper than buying coffee. I like the fact that the packaging is much simpler and cheaper and eco-friendly than 24, and it packs easily into a pocket or bag.
The only bad thing is that after a minute of tasting sugar and cinnamon in a nice burst, there is about fifteen minutes of tasting the bitterness of the caffeine (ever got a no-doze pill stuck in your mouth?). Then that pretty much goes away, and there's an acceptable but mild cinnamon taste thereafter. Stay Alert has a much more unpleasant aftertaste than 24, but it's stronger and a bit cheaper. It may work a bit faster than 24, and more of the caffeine may be entering the blood stream from the mouth, rather than the stomach. What that might do to the mucous membrane, I don't know.
In any case, it is literally a life saver, because it always wakes me up when I'm getting sleepy while driving. Highly recommended for truckers and travelers. The caffeine isn't good for you, but probably this is better for you than drinking the coffee, and it's sure cheaper.

The price in my local pharmacies have gotten a bit high so I looked to Amazon where I found this product for an excellent price. There have been a couple of times after taking Scifit where I've had a bit of a caffeine headache in the afternoon. It's possible that I've got a tolerance now and just need something extra. But I've also wondered whether it's variability in the amount of caffeine from capsule to capsule since I don't have this issue with tablets.
The bottle is huge and you have enough room to combine the two into one.

(More customer reviews)Spot on Energy is a great invention, although 'energy' results tend to vary depending on a number of factors (e.g. time of day, food intake, individual body composition, and so on).
AM
My first test patch was used shortly after waking, on the underside of my upper arm, as recommended. It made me a bit jittery and nauseous, perhaps because of an empty stomach. Note that I tested only one patch on the first try, although the serving size recommends two.
MID-DAY
I tried the patch after a light meal on another day, and it was not as strong as the first try, although I felt a good energy burst (no nausea either).
PM
Used a patch after dinner, and the energy effect was limited. Then, another patch was applied (a total of two, as recommended), and Spot On delivered as promised. In conclusion, I think this works well for general energy bursts, especially before exercise or when the stomach is light (not full or empty). Again, results may vary. The patch stays on, and occasionally leaves sticky residue, which may removed in the shower or with an alcohol prep pad.

(More customer reviews)5-Hour Energy Drink actually does work. If I am exhausted, it does not make me feel great, but it will get me through. It creates enhanced alertness, also seems to have a positive effect on eyesight and helps with tired eyes. It does take most of the "awfulness" out of being overly tired, and can make it possible to do the things I still need to do if the day is not over, even if I wish it were. The first time you take it, everything may seem "brighter" for a few moments (light sources may seem to "pop" slightly more than normal). This passes, and it feels like you were able to take a 90-minute power nap. For me, it lasts a bit less than the full 5 hours, but it is a very welcome boost. There really is no crash for me when it wears off, as advertised, and it does not make me feel "wired", just more alert. Not bad for something that comes in a little bottle for a couple bucks. As with all good things, be sensible, and if you choose to try it, use in moderation. I do not and would not use this every day, but it is nice to know it is there when needed from time to time.
