(More customer reviews)As disposable batteries go, ALWAYS use lithium if that is an option. Firstly, lithium disposable batteries give 6X the power for 2X the price, for the best value. They last 6X as long for the convenience; these were created for remote controls. But the insidious truth is that lithium batteries, whether disposable or rechargeable, have full voltage and then up and fail. For example, a lithium does 1.5V AA goes like 1.5V then 1.4V then zip. Other batteries go 1.5, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 1.0.... Whether electronics or mechanical, everyone wants lithium technology, whether disposable or rechargeable. Using lithium disposable batteries is economical and performance no brainers, if one uses disposable batteries. Put them in your wireless mouse, remote controls, and, uh, any battery operated toys. (For whatever reason, I have never seen a lithium leak.) I refrigerate my supply, but regardless, the shell life of these things is OUTRAGEOUS. NiMH rechargeables are annoying because of their rates of shelf discharge. Mission Critical situations (pictures at a wedding) should always have lithium backups....even to fresh lithium batteries. Finally, remember when you broke the battery compartment door? You should have used a lithium!
